The data we collect from site users
Natif Creatif uses Google Analytics. Google Analytics gives us access to the following information:
- Time of visit, pages visited, and time spent on each page
- Referring site details (such as the URI the user came through to arrive at this site)
- Type of web browser
- Type of operating system (OS)
- Flash version, JavaScript support, screen resolution, and screen color processing ability
- Network location and IP address.

The data we do not collect from site users
We do not have access to any personally identifiable data.
This includes, but it not limited to, users’: name, age, address, email address, bank details, political affiliation, race, gender, sexuality, workplace, job, income etc
Where we store it and why we collect it
This information is stored on Google Analytics.
We use it to improve customer experience; notably to see if a search brought the user to a relevant page.
If the search result was relevant the user will stay on the page, but if it was irrelevant, they will quickly leave. We can try to improve our service and make search results as relevant as possible.
We also use this data to help artisans improve their visibility (please see below).
Artisan access to user information provided by Google analytics
If a featured artisan asks for data, we can tell them how many clicks they have had on their Natif Creatif page, and how many clicks they have had from that page to their socials (facebook, instagram and twitter etc), contact details (address, email address, telephone number) etc. We can also tell them how long users spent on their page. This can help them to see how best to reach customers.
For example, say an artisan closes their shop every Wednesday. Google Analytics shows that people click on that artisan’s shop address a lot every Wednesday. If the artisan asks for information about clicks to their address, they may use this information to decide to open their shop on Wednesday.
How to stop websites from collecting this information
If you want to stop websites (not just Natif Creatif) from collecting your website usage data via Google Analytics, you can:
- disable cookies in your browser
- disable Javascript in your browser
Please note that disabling cookies or Javascript (the first two points) will affect your online experience (some features or functionalities may not work).
Please note that if you email us, we will have your email address and any information you provide us in your email. This information is stored in our private, password protected email account.
Other Legal Information
Please be aware that this website is not a business. We do not charge artisans or the users a fee. The objective is to provide a completely free service to increase artisan visibilty and help customers easily find high-quality, locally handmade goods.
As such, we do not have access to the legal or financial status of the artisans listed. We can not provide guarantees that the artisans on the pages are up-to-date with their tax declarations, or that they have the correct legal status.
