Yoann
Yoann has been producing honey from his 200 beehives for over 5 years.
His stall in the Arceaux market displays a range of honeys of different consistencies and colours depending on the flavour.
They offer tastings and detailed explanations of the fabrication process.
Following the bees...
The hives are in St Jean de Vedas (next to Montpellier) from September to April.
From May to August he moves the hives to the Lozère for chestnut honey, and to the Drome for lavender honey.
“After tasting all of the honeys we decided on the lavender scented one, although all of them were a thousand times better than the stuff I usually buy in the supermarket...”
