A short history of Elsa
After studying in Paris, some enriching professional experiences and several months in Burma, Elsa returned to France with the desire to make her passion for illustration her profession.
She created her business in 2019 and took up residence in a workshop named L'Ateliées in Montpellier.
The points of detail
She works mainly point by point, in a 30x40cm format. The illustrations are then scanned in very high definition, then printed on quality textured paper by a local printing company. The large reproductions are all numbered and signed, with a limited edition of 50 copies.
Ethical and organic
Her illustrations are also printed on totes bags and shopping bags entirely made in France, in organic cotton certified Oeko Tex, or in recycled fabric. Her collection is produced in the Loire region, by a network of solidarity companies, promoting the integration of disabled and needy people.
“I bought a cute little framed print from Elsa. It shows a couple snuggled up in bed and was a perfect gift for a couple of friends who had just bought a new house. Elsa is really friendly and happy to show you her designs and answer questions.”
Elsa can speak English and partakes in the monthly open workshops held in the L'Ateliées store. Contact her for more details.
